ATLAS is a decision-support and research tool for pharmacovigilance literature review and signal detection, provided by ThinkRoman Ventures LLC (“ThinkRoman”, “we”). By using ATLAS you accept the terms of this disclaimer.
Not medical, clinical, or regulatory advice
ATLAS does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for the professional judgment of a qualified pharmacovigilance, medical, or regulatory professional. Nothing produced by ATLAS should be relied upon as the sole basis for any clinical, safety, or regulatory decision.
AI-generated output must be verified
ATLAS uses automated language models to read abstracts and to draft documents. These outputs — including structured extractions, seriousness and causality assessments, signal scores, and drafted reports — are generated by software and may contain errors, omissions, or misclassifications. Every output must be independently reviewed and verified by a qualified professional before it is used for any purpose, and especially before any regulatory submission. Drafted documents are starting points, not finished regulatory records.
On signals and disproportionality
Disproportionality measures such as PRR and ROR flag patterns in reporting; they do not establish causation. Spontaneous-reporting sources such as FAERS carry well-known limitations including under-reporting, stimulated reporting, duplicate reports, and the absence of an exposure denominator. A “signal” in ATLAS is a prompt for human evaluation, never a conclusion that a drug causes an event.
Completeness and accuracy of sources
ATLAS retrieves data from third-party sources including PubMed/MEDLINE, Europe PMC, and openFDA/FAERS. We do not control these sources and do not guarantee that any search is complete, current, or free of error. Coverage depends on the search terms, date ranges, and the data made available by each source.
Not a regulatory system of record
ATLAS is not a validated safety database or a regulatory system of record. Organizations remain solely responsible for meeting their own pharmacovigilance obligations under applicable law and guidance.
Professional use
ATLAS is intended for use by professionals aged 18 or older in a research or pharmacovigilance context.
Limitation of liability
ATLAS is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ThinkRoman disclaims all liability for any loss or damage arising from reliance on ATLAS or its outputs.
